The author of the book, Cassandra Noel Hetzel, has been a resident of Greenbelt, Maryland for over 10 yrs. She has been in Greenbelt talent shows, Greenbelt pageants, and open mic nights at the new deal. She arrived here from Florida at the age of 12. At the ripe age of 30 she is finally coming out of her shell and sharing a long hidden talent. Yes, you guessed it: Writing children’s books and writing in general.

The illustrator, Betsy Marks Delaney, lives in the DC Metro area. An accomplished writer and theatre/mixed media artist, Betsy has many years of experience with art design.
